What’s the Kickstart curriculum?
The Kickstart curriculum includes both basic and advanced studies of front-end, server and mobile technologies. Program participants go through group code reviews, build projects and more, all while being accompanied by Wix Engineering experts from every field, from JS and React through Git, and up to Scala, Node and beyond. Each participant is paired with an experienced mentor who provides feedback, and professional assistance, both in and outside the classroom. You’ll also learn how to use internal Wix tools, developed to make our coding life better (and easier).
Should I apply for the Kickstart Program?
The program is designed for software engineers who want to be part of Wix, and join our engineering journey. If you are ready to take your next step in the world of mobile, server and/or front-end development, you should definitely apply. We are looking for open-minded applicants, who are passionate about software development, are not afraid to make mistakes and improve from them, and want to Make An Impact!
What if my application does not pass?
It is important to keep in mind that even if you don’t get accepted to the Kickstart program, our door, at Wix, is always open. This does not eliminate you from future applications. At any time, you can apply through the regular funnel or for the next program.

What does it mean to be a part of Kickstart?
You are considered a Wix employee from the first day. During the Kickstart learning experience, you'll also take part in activities which will help you feel fully immersed in the Wix culture - and what a fun culture do we have here :)
What is expected of me during the course?
Kickstart participants are expected to contribute to the course’s collaborative environment. Students should be eager to learn – from others on the Kickstart team as well as from fellow peers. We also expect students to take advantage of mentoring and feedback we provide, to attend weekly individual meetings with the Kickstart staff.
